This website is for members of the GE Aerospace Pension Plan (formerly the GE Pension Plan) and the GE Capital Pension Scheme and their dependants.
These quick links will take you straight to the relevant section of the secure member area, once you log in.
Our preference is to contact you via email. It’s important that we have your most up to date contact details so that we can contact you when we share any information about the Scheme.
You have the right to transfer your pension to another pension arrangement. The transfer amount will change over time, up or down, depending on movements in financial markets.
Find out about the benefits you’ll receive and what’s payable to you through the Scheme when you reach retirement age.
If you get ill or are unable to work, you may be eligible to access your pension early. We’ll explain more about early retirement due to ill-health here.
In certain circumstances, a lump sum is payable if you die. Complete or update your Beneficiaries to tell us who you’d like to receive this.
If you would like to learn more about your pension and who runs it, you can find further details here.
In certain circumstances, the schemes provide lump sum death benefits when you die.
So that the Trustee knows who you’d like to receive any such lump sum, it’s important to keep your nominated Beneficiaries up to date.
Your Dependants may also receive a pension – this will be determined in accordance with the rules of your scheme.
For more information on death benefits, see ‘Your Guide’ which you can find in the library on the secure member area.
There are several options open to you at retirement, including (under current HMRC regulations) the option to exchange part of your pension for a one-off lump sum.
You may also be able to give up part of your pension to increase the amount your Dependants receive when you die.
